When is the last time you worked at your job for free? You expect to be paid for what you do. Don’t you? The remodeling industry is no different.
When you think about it, there are very few industries that give things away like the remodeling industry does.
It is really important for clients to understand that accurate estimating takes time; It’s a professional “service” in my book and what professional doesn’t charge for their services.
1.Why can’t I just send a picture and describe what I want?
There are many factors when considering a job. For starters and the main concern is that we believe if you’re going to have someone in your home working on your behalf its imperative to build our relationship of trust. We want to provide the best service possible and also build a relationship with you and your family. Mutual trust and outstanding communication are the cornerstone to starting any major project you may want to undertake.
You need to interview us to ensure we are a good fit for you and what you want to accomplish. Don’t feel bad, we are interviewing you as well. We are assessing which of our project managers expertise and personalities will be the best fit for you.
2. The other guy said he would give me a free estimate. Exactly! Free estimates are just that, estimates.
Accurate Pricing – Not Estimating
We provide accurate pricing. When we come back to meet with you (yes, meet face to face, more on that later) you will have the cost of your project. Not an estimate that kinda sorta might be the cost. Barring any major changes or problems what we quote you is what you pay. Good luck doing that with the free estimate.
3. Has anyone had a contractor over and not asked questions? Of course not. Your contractor is sharing their professional knowledge and experience, providing you a consultation to help you decide what your best options may be. There many times when we hear “I never thought of that”. Well, we didn’t either but from many different types of successful jobs completed we now do think of “that”. We want to share what we know to help you.
