Have you ever wondered what a life changing it could be to go from a bathtub to a walk-in shower? Transforming your bathroom area can bring joy, make you feel good and relax when it’s time to take a shower. Some benefits of having a walk-in shower is giving you more space to walk, it’s very useful for elders since you can install bars or even bring in a chair for them and it’s also very easy to clean.
Be prepared
One thing you do have to be prepared for is the process, knowing your bathroom would be torn apart. Having the guys in and out of your home with materials, how loud it can get during the process and most of all the mess that would be made.
Decisions
Some decisions you would need to take is the way you want this shower to be, the tile and flooring picked out, maybe you are installing new vanities/sinks, shower heads, paint choice, if you are changing mirrors have new ones in mind.
Here is what we do
We start off demoing the bathroom, taking out the tub, tile, flooring and shower head. Start working on the plumbing part, forming how the shower would look by creating a shower box where your products would go and cement onto the floor. Once that is done and covered up then they would start working on the tile, taking measurements, cutting out and placing them. They have the shower done, they would start working on the flooring & repeat the process of measurements, cutting and placing. Keep in mind this is where it’s a lot of going back & forth from being inside to outside your home. Once that is settled, if you plan on painting your bathroom, changing vanities, mirrors, we would take that out as well. Prep the area where we would be painting, and start working on that. Set in new vanities/sinks, mirrors and shower doors. We also make a final walk through & make sure you are in love with our work and if there is anything we need to address we get it addressed, no questions asked.
